It’s Thanksgiving, no, it’s Hanukkah, nope — this year, it’s Thankgivukkah! Things are getting a little confusing around the holidays this year. Hanukkah starts tonight at sundown, so for all of you who celebrate the Festival of Lights, Happy Hanukkah! To put you in a festive mood, we have some fun DIY and easy on-trend Hanukkah decorating ideas to get your home in the holiday spirit. Blue and white are the colors of Hanukkah, and typically there isn’t much variation. We recommend sticking to tradition but adding in different textures, shades or metallic accents to keep it interesting. Multi-textured white, for example, with just a few pops of bold blue, or try light blue and white with pops of shiny silver.

Star of David on Your Walls
A Star of David is one of the easiest things to draw, create or DIY. Try using twigs or sticks to create a unique Star of David to add some earthy texture to any empty wall space begging for holiday pizzaz. We love the look of one super big star with tiny twinkly lights intertwining the branches. Maybe try to make a mini version for your mantel. This trend is very popular on Pinterest this season.
Let the Kids Get in the Spirit

Not only does it look fabulous, but the kids will feel important and will make the Holiday of Lights even more meaningful.
